Adopt-A-Geek for 2007

We're proud to continue our Geekway tradition of Adopting our fellow Geeks and friends who are unable to attend the Geekway to the West event. Adopt-a-Geek allows attendees to "sponsor" an absentee Geek, so they can enjoy the event vicariously through us.

So what does that mean, exactly? It's simple. When you register for the Geekway to the West, you can enter a BoardGameGeek's username in the registration form as an Adopted Geek. Each Adopted Geek will be entered into the same door prize and attendance drawings as all of the regular attendees. If your Adopted Geek wins a prize, you ship the prize to your Adopted Geek after the Geekway.

Adopting a Geek is voluntary, but it's a lot of fun, and it's a nice way to let those gamers who couldn't attend know we were thinking about them and hope they'll be able to join us in the future.
